I got this chalk to practice my chalkboard-lettering skills (I plan to use liquid chalk once I know what I am doing). I want to showcase my skills (once I have them) on a couple of some 1970’s vintage chalkboards I bought to use just for fun in the house (one is a Pink Panther and the other is a Snoopy). I am using an inexpensive “regular” chalkboard for the practice.This chalk is very nice. It has good coverage–nice and bold white. You know how some of the cheap chalk sort of skips over the chalkboard and doesn’t provide good coverage? This chalk is not like that! It lasts well and doesn’t make my fingers dusty like some chalks. It erases easily from my chalkboard. With 100 sticks, I definitely will have enough chalk to last me until I master this art! The chalk comes packaged in a nice, compact, recloseable box. I definitely recommend this.

The chalk was fairly tightly packed in a box and arrived almost completely intact, with one single broken piece. It seems weird to order chalk when you have neither sidewalks, or children, or are not a teacher, but I speifically ordered this for my toolboxes.Chalk helps keep your tools from rusting, among it’s many other uses. Drawing lines of chalk can deter ants from entering your home, Moisture Absorption: Chalk can be used to absorb moisture in drawers & closets, chalk can be used to remove stains, especially on clothing, applying chalk to a screwdriver grip can help prevent slippage, Rubbing chalk on a key can help unstick sticky locks., Chalk can be used to touch up small dings and scratches on walls. keep a few pieces wrapped in cheesecloth stored with your silver to keep it from tarnishing, rub it on the hanger of a picture frame, and then press it against the wall to leave a chalk mark where the nail should go. . . .tons and tons of ideas to use up a box of chalk in no time! This was more than a fair price for the quantity of chalk.
