I needed a light blue binder for color-coding purposes in a home project. It does the job – okay, but not as well as I had hoped. To start with, when using standard stock paper getting a page into the opening in the cover is very difficult. By the time you are done manipulating the page and the plastic the page often has wrinkles or creases – or else you will tear the plastic “pocket” you are trying to fit the page into. I had to print out six pages and do some compromising to get a page in there that looked half-way decent and it didn’t quite line up correctly. Secondly the metal tab used to open all the rings at once only works some of the time. For the most part I had to pull them apart manually. As I said this was used for a home project, and once the content pages are put in the rings they hold fairly well. But I would NOT recommend this for professional or business use. If that is your need then get the Avery Flexi-View Binder with Presentation view. The cover sheet loads from the top instead of the side and slides in without any problems. It costs a little more but in the end it is well worth it. I wish I had used one even for this home project.

I chose it because the cover can hold a title page. We’ll made and I like the flexibility of it.
